Favorite Moments of 2012

Picture Perfect Christmas 2012--Not!

I thought we were going to have a Christmas where we would take Norman Rockwell kind of pictures. I had this idea in my head that you would come into the living room, see your train under the tree and get so excited, then you would hurriedly rip the wrapping paper from all your other presents. You would get to ride your new John Deere tractor outside with us all following you around the yard. After a while of playing you will be dressed in some Christmasy outfit, maybe licking a candy cane, with Mama, Daddy, Uncle Adam and Aunt Bri all in their color coordinated fancy holiday clothes standing in pretty, white snow under the pine trees in the yard.  Then we will go in the house and have a leisurely Christmas breakfast on our big table set with elegant dishes.

Norman Rockwell we are not.....
What really happened was you were feeling bad, your nose ran, you coughed a lot and was a bit fussy. It was so cold (but no snow) you couldn't go outside to try out the tractor.  Even though you are on a train kick right now you weren't all that impressed with the battery operated train that Hon and Gpa got you.  Apparently you like to push your own train not have the silly thing talk and go in circles on its own. You would open a present and then wanted to play with whatever you had unwrapped. It would have taken a week if your Mom hadn't helped. Your Dad got sick in the night so neither he nor you felt up to pictures so there were no cute clothes only pj wearing by everyone most of the day. We did have breakfast but you wouldn't eat so we finished it up quickly.

I may not have the poster size pictures I wanted to hang on the wall but we did love being together and I did get a few pictures to help us remember how cute and precious you were Christmas 2012.

Tiny Elf

Today was your Friday to stay with Hon. I took Nana Jane and we came to your house to play. We had breakfast at IHOP where you laughed and chattered to anyone going by.  We stopped at a few stores and then it was home to take a few Christmas pictures in your new shirt. You ran all over the yard and then even took a stroll over to visit the neighbors Joan and Bob.

After all that you had to go in for a nap and wait for Gpa to come spend the afternoon playing.
I think the Grinch will have to run fast if he wants to steal you, because baby you like to play catch me if you can!!

The Shirt Says It All.

Big Cousin

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving you went to your first gender reveal party.  Aunt Bri and Uncle Adam had us all meet at Bri's Aunt's house in Bartlesville so they could tell us all at one time whether we are going to be buying trucks or tutus. You were anxious to hear...

It's a girl!!! Bring on the bling baby.

What? No Happenings?

For the last few weeks I have been having problems my my blog letting me post.  It kept giving me a message that I had used too much storage.  What is that all about? Me have too many pictures?  I didn't even know it was possible to have too many pictures.  So after griping and stomping around, I finally resorted to researching the internet to see if I was being scammed. I never could find any evidence that was happening.  Then I contacted one of Aunt Sara's friend Tif because she is younger and blog savy. She told me to do what I should have done to start with....pay for more storage, because as everyone knows there is always Happenings With Hon that need to be documented.
