I Dig You!

You really like trucks,cars, and trains so I thought a Valentine shirt with a big yellow backhoe was perfect. I had this big idea where we would go to a park that had one of those toys that looks like a crane and you would sit on it in your shirt and pretend to dig in the sand. Guess what? we couldn't find a park that had one of those. I know I saw one somewhere but after looking in several town I gave up.  Then I decided that I would buy you a ride on toy that looked like a big machine.  Guess what? No ride on toy.  I looked in every store I could think of and couldn't find one.  So I decided we would just take your picture out in a road in your Valentine shirt. Guess what? I went by Nana Jane's house and low and behold right there in the road was a real backhoe!! I had Nana on the lookout to let us know when the workers went home. Finally we got the call. Gpa and I loaded you up and we went to the big machine to take pics.

 Guess what? 

You were the cutest

backhoe operator ever!!

You tried out all the different parts and loved them all.

 

Then we added the chocolate to the picture taking.

You loved the candy as much as you did the machine.

1st Blingy Buy

When you have a baby boy for your first grand baby you buy a lot of trucks, cars, trains and balls. And if his parents are athletic they  won't let you buy much in the way of clothes except for jeans and shirts
 Boy stuff is cute....

But, I have been wanting to do this for a long time

New Years Day

What a great way to start the new year.  You and your Daddy came over to watch OSU play in the bowl game. The game was pretty boring but you were a hoot. We can't wait for all the new things that 2013 will bring.
