Two Teeth

After drooling, chewing and a lot of fussing you got one tooth and a few days later another one popped through.

In all fairness who knows if the fussy part is due to the tooth or you feeling bad from being so congested.

The Sickness Saga Continues

Well, we are into week three of you being sick and week four isn't looking much better. You have been to the doctor every week this month. He gave you antibotics, steroids and a breathing machine. On the last visit he decided to treat you for RSV even though your test came back negative. The month of January hasn't been the best and we will be glad to see it go.

7 Months Old

Can you believe I forgot to post your 7 month pictures? I remembered to take your pictures but I got distracted with you being sick and didn't blog about your seventh month. So with my humble apology here is all the cuteness of your 7th month.

You weigh 20 lbs,

 are wearing size 12 month clothes, size 4 diapers and we can't hardly find shoes to fit you. You hate socks and do your best to pull them off.

You can get up on your knees like you are going to crawl but can't get everything going at once. But since you can Army crawl and roll you manage to get where you want to go.

 You put everything in your mouth. You have chewed and drooled your way through the last month with the result being two teeth on bottom. You have liked everything we have given you to eat.

You started daycare this month. After two days you got sick with a cold. You were running a 102 fever and had to go the doctor which was the first time you had seen him other than well visit. The cold has been hanging on so you have come over to stay with us some during the week.

When you aren't feeling bad you are lots of fun and we have a great time keeping you. We can't wait to see what next month brings.

Another First

We got so much snow we could build a snowman.

So Sick

Well, you went to the daycare two days the first week of January. By that Saturday you were sick with a cold and running a fever. This is the first time since you were born that you have been sick. Because you felt so bad you couldn't go to daycare so there has been a whole lot of this going on.

Over a week later you still are a bit congested but are feeling better. Back to daycare tomorrow so we will see.....



Sad, Sad, Sad Day

When I retired it allowed me to offer to babysit you while your mom and dad worked. We have watched you go from a itty, bitty baby to a big boy who can eat baby food, sit up, and is almost crawling.

In October I went back to work tutoring a half a day every day. Nana Great and your Gpa pitched in to watch you while I was gone.  Since Gpa's busy time at his work is coming up and it is hard for Nana to keep up with you we decided you would have to start going to daycare. Yesterday was your first day there. I heard it wasn't too hard on you but we hate it..

You really think 2012 will be more fun than 2011 was???

Gpa and I were talking about how life has changed since you came. We knew we would love you but we had no idea we would be insanely crazy over you. You make us laugh at your antics and marvel how smart you are.

So yes, my sweet one I do think 2012 will be more fun.

When one has a grand baby as cute and smart as you are how can it get anything but better?
