Another First

We got so much snow we could build a snowman.

 

Not really we just got a little

So Sick

Well, you went to the daycare two days the first week of January. By that Saturday you were sick with a cold and running a fever. This is the first time since you were born that you have been sick. Because you felt so bad you couldn't go to daycare so there has been a whole lot of this going on.

Over a week later you still are a bit congested but are feeling better. Back to daycare tomorrow so we will see.....



Sad, Sad, Sad Day

When I retired it allowed me to offer to babysit you while your mom and dad worked. We have watched you go from a itty, bitty baby to a big boy who can eat baby food, sit up, and is almost crawling.

In October I went back to work tutoring a half a day every day. Nana Great and your Gpa pitched in to watch you while I was gone.  Since Gpa's busy time at his work is coming up and it is hard for Nana to keep up with you we decided you would have to start going to daycare. Yesterday was your first day there. I heard it wasn't too hard on you but we hate it..

You really think 2012 will be more fun than 2011 was???

Gpa and I were talking about how life has changed since you came. We knew we would love you but we had no idea we would be insanely crazy over you. You make us laugh at your antics and marvel how smart you are.

So yes, my sweet one I do think 2012 will be more fun.

When one has a grand baby as cute and smart as you are how can it get anything but better?

Holiday Fun

Even though your dad is on Christmas break he had to go to school for practice so Gpa and Hon invited you over for a little fun. You got all dressed up but had nowhere to go.

 

So this is the only time that it will be ok to

Drink

Drive

And then sleep it off!!

 We had a fun time with you and can't wait to do it again.



Your First Christmas

Today we celebrated your first Christmas. Uncle Adam, Aunt Bri and Nana Great all came to Gpa's and Hon's to share this special day with you.

 We had a great Christmas breakfast.  We think yours was great but none of us were willing to trade ours for yours.

After breakfast we went to open presents by the tree.You wasn't sure what was going to happen.

But soon you really got into tearing the bows off the presents.

As usual in the mouth they went.

You liked all your presents but weren't really sure about the baseball rocker.

Hang on Baby, because we are going to be celebrating Christmas with you for years to come.



The Pharmacist's Biggest Fan

Yesterday G'pa and Hon picked you up for a little road trip. We went to your Mom's Target store to have lunch with her.  She was so suprised to see you.

 She really liked your shirt.

But of course what pharmacist wouldn't like be loved by you.

Maybe we can take another trip and spread a little more love again soon.
