2 Months Old

Wow, two months have already gone by. You are really smiling alot these days. Sometimes you actually laugh out loud.

You weigh 13.2 lbs. You are 23.5 inches long. You are taking formula at every feeding. You still take a paci but aren't as excited about it as you were. You prefer sucking on your hand.

You wear size 2 diapers and size 3 month clothes. All the newborn clothes have been put away because you have outgrown them. You have even rolled from your stomach to your back a few times although it takes a lot of effort complete with the sound effects of grunting and growling. 

You sleep anywhere from 3 to 5 hours a night if you are swaddled. You are now sleeping in the crib in your own room. You like the bouncer, the swing, and the mat that you lay on and talk to the baby in the mirror. Sooooooooo cute!!! You have stayed all night with Hon and Gpa two times already and was a dream both times. We can't believe what a good baby you are.. Keep it up Big E!!

Who knew watering flowers at 6:45 in the morning could be so much fun.

Athletic, Well Yes

You are the smartest baby we have ever seen and now we have decided you are going to be very athletic. I know, I know all grandparents say that about their grandbaby but with you it is the truth!!! You can hold your head up at 7 weeks and I have pictures to prove it.

OU here he comes!

Sleepover It Was

There was no late night snacks (well a bottle at 2) no watching movies and laughing until the wee hours of the morning. No calling people and hanging up (although we did discuss doing this to your mom and dad). So the first night with Gpa and Hon will have to be declared a sleepover. Maybe one of these days we will have a slumber party and rock this place until morning. (Ok Gpa will rock with you Hon will be sleeping)

I know Bub I feel the same way that they won't let you stay another night. Tell you what we won't answer the phone today and you can stay all day and play. We loved having you over hope you come again soon.

It's an Overnighter at the Grandparents

Tonight you came over to spend the night with Gpa and Hon. We have played all evening and now we are trying to decide if tonight will be a sleepover or a slumber party.

My Baby with Her Baby

Last night your Dad had a meeting at school so you and your Mom came over to visit. Surprise, surprise while you were here we took a few pictures. Nothing is sweeter than a Mama and her baby.

You thought our night was a lot of fun. You hardly cried the whole time but then again why would you cry when you never get laid down and people are making faces and funny noises at you all the time. Hope you come again soon.
