What fun we had on May 5,2011 taking your first family pictures. Your Hon loves to take pictures so I am sure this is the first of many photo sessions.

All Star Shower

On Saturday, April 30, 2011 lots of people that love Easton and his parents came together to shower them with presents and love.

                                   The decorations were sports themed.

                                  The guests signed a ball instead of a book.

The shower was given by some dear friends: Mindy Russell, Mary Brewer, Sara McLaughlin, Brianna Hibdon, and Charity Duran

The day was filled with many gifts

                                                  Lots of laughter

                                                   And plenty of love.

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

April 26,2011 what an amazing day..... we saw Easton's face for the first time.

The title of this post is a song from the 70's, the first two lines say

The first time ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes

That pretty well sums up how we felt. We felt so blessed to be asked to share this special occassion.

We can't wait to kiss that sweet face.

Sometimes You Just Have To Have Fun!!!

Hopefully they will have lots more fun after Easton gets here because he will want to stay with his Hon.

Reveal Party

On January 7,2011 Shayne and Aubrey had their family and friends meet at a restaurant to reveal the gender of the baby. After we were settled in they handed out cupcakes. On the count of three we took a bite and the color of the filling would tell us boy or girl. It was BLUE!!! So it will be trucks and balls instead of tutus and bows. We can't wait..let the shopping begin!

Getting Ready

Shayne and Aubrey hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year. Now looking back I think it was so we could start the first chapter in getting ready for the baby, which was putting together the nursery furniture. G'pa and Daddy Shayne had all they could do so the girls decorated the Christmas tree and peeked in once in a while to check the progress.
